Dutch National Championship - Photo impressions

The Dutch Championship is already on its second half, soon the sixth round will start later on today. Wouter Spoelman is leading with 4 out of 5 and, in the women section, Zhaoqin Peng is undefetead, with 6 out of 6! Women play a double round-robin tournament, so no rest day for them. But for men, yesterday, 1st of July, relaxation time was in the schedule.

Vught
Vught is a municipality and a town in the southern Netherlands. It is a town where lots of commuters live and has recently been named "Best place to live" by the Dutch magazine Elsevier. Smaranda is living in the same city as I do, Iasi, and she has one more year to get her Master degree in kinetotherapy. She was several times Romanian Champion in her age group, achieved many national and international results, she is now teaching children how to play chess and still has enough time to devote for her hobbies: capoeira and handmade jewelery. Plus, we are in the same team: Politehnica Iasi. Good luck for Jan!
